2 months from today is christmas eve!!!

good things from today:
1. sleeping in, they asked me to work 11:30-8 instead of 9-5
2. ordering new supplies so I won't die for a few months
3. working with/for Paula
4. Heroes was on tonight!
5. english muffins = yum

sucky things:

2. register 9...it's no-mans land...

once again...the good has a longer list than bad. it was a pretty sucky day too....it rained like the whole time.

great things from today:
1. The boy with his baggie of cheerios and raisins. He was holding on to each side of the bag with his nose almost entirely in the bag. It's as if he was trying to find the best one. Sooo adorable and I REALLY need to start carrying around a camera.

2. The peg. It was at LEAST 10 feet off of the ground, but I was adamant to Paula (general department clerk) that it was dangerous and it'd surely put someone's eye out. Particularly mine, since I'm tall enough.

3. Harassing Jacob (hardware clerk). That's always fun. Not to mention blantantly insulting him to his face when no one else would DARE to do so. Introducing Mary (the new lady in the general dept) to him as "This is Jake, he's kinda dumb and oblivious and you'll eventually hate him, like everyone else does." THEN trying to find him as he'd left his pricing gun in the breakroom. (Big no-no.)

4. The "special" products on the shelf for those who are in "need" of them.

5. Walking in the cold! Though it wasn't as cold as last night, yay!

6. Finally watching "Love Actually"

sucky things:
1. Counting everything I actually eat all day. And thinking to myself, "Shit, no wonder I'm chubby and have a hard time getting rid of it! All I eat is shit!"

At least it's better when there are more good things than bad to cover the day. :)

Great things from today:

1. accusing Stu (clerk from the general dept) of meditating as he's trying to find something for me to work on
2. making promises to Stu that my manager (Mary, the cashier manager) broke for me (whoops...didn't mean to do that)
3. having Stu's 7 or 8 month old granddaughter fall in love with me, though I've never seen her before in my life
4. additions to my halloween-at-work costume!
5. walking 2 miles in the cold, finding two awesome shops (books - "Betts Books" and hippies - "Middle Earth"), though they were both closed
6. noodles!
